Introduction:

The "Hybrid Classroom - A Step Towards Global Outreach" project, led by Prof. Mudrika Khandelwal, aims to revolutionize teaching at IIT Hyderabad by transforming classrooms into interactive spaces. This initiative addresses challenges faced by offline students, providing global access to quality education.

Objective:

Prof. Mudrika Khandelwal, Dean of Alumni and Corporate Relations, spearheads the "Hybrid Classroom" project at IIT Hyderabad. The objective is to equip classrooms with interactive facilities and display panels, fostering digital transformation in teaching. By embracing a hybrid model, IITH seeks to offer courses globally, providing learners with interactive access to high-quality education. This initiative aims to eliminate adversarial learning environments, reduce travel expenses, offer flexible schedules, and enhance course choices. Currently, 15 classrooms have been transformed, and the proposal targets the conversion of the remaining 39. The project aligns with SDGs 4 (Quality Education) and 9 (Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure), aiming to increase students' employability and promote innovation in education.

Timeline & Budget:

Year 1: Transformation of 39 classrooms (INR 4,29,00,000/-).

Year 2: Maintenance endowment for transformed classrooms (INR 4,29,00,000/-).

Year 3: No additional budget allocated.
