Introduction:

This proposal outlines the establishment of a state-of-the-art Recording and Editing Studio at IIT Hyderabad's Knowledge Resource Centre (KRC). This facility aims to enhance the dissemination of knowledge through high-quality audio-visual media, aligning with IITH's commitment to innovation and technology.

Objective:

The Recording and Editing Studio will serve the IITH community, providing a centralized solution for creating and editing diverse audio-visual content. This facility targets multiple purposes, including recording interviews with eminent personalities, creating IITH-related videos, recording online lectures for platforms like NPTEL, and supporting teaching activities across various departments. The primary goal is to enable faculty, staff, and students to produce professional-quality media content, fostering the institution's role as a technological innovator. The studio requires infrastructure such as recording equipment, video editing tools, acoustic shielding, and dedicated computers to ensure optimal functionality.

Timeline & Budget :

Year 1: Establishment of Recording and Editing Studio (INR 40 Lakhs).

Recording Equipment: INR 20 Lakhs.

Video Editing Equipment: INR 20 Lakhs.
