Description:
To foster a culture of academic excellence and leadership among students, IIT Hyderabad (IITH) is proud to announce the establishment of the AMK’s Scholar Program, initiated by Mr. Aldi Manikanth, an esteemed alumnus of the 2010–2014 batch. The objective of this scholarship is to honor and reward students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance combined with exceptional leadership qualities.

Each year, two deserving students from IIT Hyderabad will be selected for this prestigious recognition. Each awardee will receive a scholarship amount of Rs. 50,000 along with a formal citation celebrating their achievements.

Selection Criteria:
IITH will establish a formal process for inviting nominations and applications for the scholarship. A committee comprising eminent faculty members from the institute will be constituted to assess and evaluate the applicants based on academic merit, leadership initiatives, and overall contribution to campus life. The winners will be selected through a rigorous and transparent evaluation process.

Validity of Naming:
The naming for the AMK’s Scholar Program will be valid for a period of 5 years. In the event that the scholarship amount, number of awardees, or related expenses are revised in the future, IITH reserves the right to approach the donor for additional funding to sustain the program. Should any exceptional circumstances necessitate a change in the name of the scholarship, the institute will consult the donor to determine an appropriate alternative.
