CYIENT Foundation believes in the philosophy of returning to society as a measure of gratitude for what it has taken from it. CYIENT extended financial assistance for instituting a Chair in 'Future Communications' at IIT - Hyderabad.

In view of this, the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) aims to extend beyond charity and enhance social impact. As a responsible corporate, CYIENT is committed to impacting society positively. CYIENT's focus has largely been to help society by enabling quality education through its voluntary organization CYIENT FOUNDATION.

CYIENT has provided the necessary corpus of Rs. 75 Lakhs towards the same. This amount is for endowing a chair in IIT-Hyderabad and will work on the future of communications.

The chair will conduct research on future communication technologies. The Chair occupant will be a faculty of of IIT Hyderabad who will hold the position for 3 years. Endowment will provide the Chair an additional stipend and a yearly budget for capex, travel etc.

IIT Hyderabad is indebted to CYIENT in many ways and by establishing the first Chair Professorship at llT Hyderabad.
