Description:

IIT Hyderabad (IITH) houses various infrastructure that supports academics and research.

These are categorized as under.

1. Academic buildings
   
   • - Individual buildings
   • - Classrooms
   • - Seminar halls
   • - Conference facilities
2. Laboratories
   - Various research laboratories
3. Research centers
   - Individual research centers
4. Sports infrastructures
   - Athletic stadium
   - Cricket Ground
   - Indoor Gymnasium
5. Students' facilities
   - Hostels
   - Swimming pool

The above infrastructure is available for the individual donors to contribute and name the facility as per the donor's interests. The infrastructure will be endowed with an initial corpus of Rs. 5 - 20 Cr ($ 700,000 - $ 2,800,000) spending on the size and location. The infrastructure will be named by IITH in consultation with the Donor. All endowments are subject to top-up as necessitated by economic conditions. The endowment yield will be utilized for the maintenance of the infrastructure in top condition.

Naming the center by the donor:

1. Donors can name the infrastructure as per their wish.
2. The donor shall ensure that the proposed name is enhancing the reputation of the institute.
3. The research coming out of infrastructure will use its name in communications, research paper presentations, and publications as applicable.
4. Periodic updates on the fund utilization (if applicable) can be possible based on mutual conveniences.

Validity of the naming right:

The naming right will be for a period of 10 years' subject to extension on additional top-up contributions to sustain the infrastructure. This will be based on mutual agreements.
