Endowment

Description:

Partial support intended for a few selected students and faculty to attend international conferences. Selected faculty/students will be getting international travel support in the name of the Donor. To support faculty and students to attend international conferences an initial endowment of Rs. 20 Lakh and Rs. 10 Lakh, respectively, is proposed. All endowments are subject to top-up as necessitated by economic conditions.

Partial support to selected students (Rs. 50,000) and faculty (Rs. 1 Lakh) to attend international conferences. The startup support is proposed to be set up as an endowment, and the returns earned at an average of 5% would support the students. Travel support can be named after the Donor. The donor shall ensure that the proposed name is enhancing the reputation of the institute.

Selection Criteria:

IIT Hyderabad has an internal process to select a suitable candidate eligible for this benefit.
