SPIC MACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth) is a voluntary movement dedicated to promoting Indian classical music, dance, and culture among the youth. Founded in 1977 by Dr. Kiran Seth, the movement seeks to enrich the quality of formal education by connecting students with the rich and diverse cultural heritage of India. Key Objectives of SPIC MACAY is Cultural Awareness, Preservation of Heritage, Inspiration and Values.

About 1500 young delegates from India and aboard will be participating in this year’s convention. Concerts by leading exponents of Indian Classical Music - Carnatic & Hindustani, Classical dance performances, Folk performances by prominent artists. A glimpse of a week-long residential holistic cultural immersion experience in a gurukul-like environment.

SPIC MACAY is organizing its 10th International Convention at IIT Hyderabad from May 26, 2025 to June 01, 2025.
