Reunion Fund

IIT holds a special place in the hearts and lives of its alumni, and it's often seen as the institution that equips its students to reach great heights. In a heartfelt gesture to give back to their beloved alma mater, the graduates of 2013 and their batchmates have pledged their commitment to contribute to the institute's infrastructural development. They understand the significance of nurturing the place that has played a pivotal role in shaping their careers and lives.

The 2013 batch of IIT Hyderabad, which comprises graduates with B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, and PhD degrees, is all set to celebrate their 10th-year reunion in December 2023 during the Annual Alumni Day. As a tribute to their cherished institution and as an expression of gratitude, the batch aims to leave behind a legacy that will benefit the next generation of students.

The proposed infrastructure includes two components:

Recording Studio @IITH Knowedge Center: A cutting-edge recording studio primarily designed to support academics by recording lectures and enhancing educational resources. It fosters creativity and technical skills while enriching the student learning experience. Funding required to set up a studio is Rs. 30 Lacs.

Refreshment Kiosk @IITH SNCC/Pavillion: This amenity is dedicated to students' well-being, offering snacks, beverages, and a place to unwind. It enhances campus life, ensuring quick sustenance during busy schedules. Funding required to set up a kiosk is Rs. 10 Lacs.

IIT Hyderabad will prioritize the establishment of the recording studio, subject to the funds raised, followed by the refreshment kiosk. In recognition of the 2013 batch's generous contribution, the institute  will acknowledge their support by appropriately naming the infrastructure through a dedicated plaque at a significant location on the campus.
